Who is this marcus shepherd?       

Well, he grew up in an overspill town that had no cinema or bookshop.

That's right-no cinema or bookshop, imagine that. 

It's hard to believe that kind of place ever existed in England isn't it?

But it did.

This was long before the internet, video and multi-channel TV.

This period is known as 'the Dark Ages.'

It's very different today-you can get hold of anything you want.

marcus shepherd owns lots of films on DVD and owns loads of books too.

He works as a writer and director, he makes things - things like films.

Some of them have names like THE TRIGGER, EL HOPPO! & THE SOFA 

He's going to be making some more soon but longer- like feature films.
